The Berkeley is yet another London Hotel celebrating the Diamond Jubilee with their Royal Collection themed afternoon Pret a Portea. They celebrate the Diamond Jubliee with a collection of iconic Royal crowns, hat and fascinators that are too pretty to eat. Prêt-à-Portea is designed to add a creative twist to the classic elements of the traditional English afternoon tea with cakes and pastries resembling the latest catwalk designs for the style conscious. However, from 29th May to 9th June 2012, biscuits, fancies and choux buns have been transformed to resemble the most memorable hats worn by the Royal Family to mark The Queen’s 60th anniversary on the throne.

‘Prêt-à-Portea – The Royal Collection’ will be served in The Caramel Room at The Berkeley from 1-6pm from 29th May to 9th June 2012, £39 per person.(£49 including a glass of Laurent Perrier champagne, or alternatively for the fashion conscious, £55 per person including a glass of couture champagne).

Asprey Diamond Jubilee Afternoon Tea at The Langham, London

To celebrate 60 years as Monarch The Langham Hotel, London is serving a special Asprey Diamond Jubilee afternoon tea in Palm Court.This is one of the prettiest I have seen with its brown, cream and purple Asprey colour palette. This Afternoon Tea is available during the Diamond Jubilee weekend from 1st to 5th June 2012. Reservations are essential.

Fall / Winter 12 collection of biscuits, cakes and deserts in time for the new fashion season and I cannot wait to visit to taste these divine treats. Below is a list of what you can expect to find on your Paul Smith cake stand. Who would have thought cakes and biscuits could get one so excited.

I have such a sweet tooth I am surprised my teeth haven't turned into sugar cubes, that is why I could not resist these cute jars of Papa Bubble candy from their store on Broome St, New York. They don't just look pretty they also taste delicious. Better get an appointment booked at my dentist urgently.

For those of us who love the decadence of afternoon tea a must visit is The Berkeley Hotel for their fashion famous Pret-a-Portea. The designer afternoon tea inspired by the current seasons fashions is served daily in The Caramel Room from 1pm to 6pm. It is extremely popular so booking as far in advance as possible is advised.

The new Spring/Summer 2011 collection sees a range of cakes and fancies inspired by the world's finest designers served on Paul Smith fine bone china.

You can take your Pret-a-Portea with a  range of herbal loose leaf teas and herbal infusions or a glass of Laurent -Perrier Champagne.

Prêt-à-Portea is now available by delivery aboard a Vespa adorned in the famous Pret colours of pistachio green and pale pink. Your delivery comes complete with handbag take away boxes stowed in a much larger bespoke handbag carrier which perches itself on the back of the Vespa. Fashionistas can send fellow fashion fans set boxes of 10 biscuits for £25 including delivery to the SW1 area.

Prices start at £36.50 per person, if you opt for the Champagne Pret-a-Portea expect to pay £46.50 per person.

Edible Chanel

If you love fashion and have a sweet tooth you will adore these edible Chanel treats. The cupcakes are made to order from www.crumbsanddoilies.co.uk. The cake pops are by Pop Bakery. Unfortunately, I don't know the source of the two cupcakes at the bottom or the cookies, I will continue to explore their origin and post the maker when I find out. Yum, Yum x
