Since finding a bottle of L'Oréal Professionnel Serie Nature Source Re-Naitre in my goodie bag at Fashion Fringe I have relied on this shampoo to keep my highlighted blonde hair in tip top condition. This shampoo is so amazing you don't really need a conditioner, and this is coming from a girl who needs to double condition after each wash before she can get a comb through her hair. It paraben and silicone free with a natural fragrance so you can be assured you are not putting any chemical nasties on your skin.

Chanel does everything in style, even their promotional material is so stunning you wont want to throw it away. So when I discovered a package inside my January 2012 issue of Harper's Bazaar Australia I opened it straight away rather than throwing it in the trash as I tend to do. Inside I found the most beautiful card with tiny dangling metal snowflakes, bottles and Chanel interlocking 'C' logos...gorgeous.

I love how dramatic crystal chandeliers can be, but having seen these amazing sculpture like lights by Hudson Furniture I am so over crystal and now obsessed with chain. My first sighting of them was in the Trump Soho Hotel Spa in New York (see bottom image) it sat there in the reception shimmering away with the light bouncing off its silver chains creating a warm glow. I warn you, these works of art are not cheap, you can be looking at paying at least 5 figures to have one of these grace your home. Check out the full range at www.hudsonfurnitureinc.com

Celine & Tommy Hilfiger have done the silk Pyjama pant as day wear over the last couple of seasons so well, I now feel I need to embrace this trend for Spring 2012 as the runways are awash with pretty patterned silk wide leg pants. I have recently invested in a pair by 10 Crosby by Derek Lam and cannot wait wear them out, however, I am waiting for slightly warmer weather. I would say having tried them on in numerous combinations that rule number one would be to stick to heels with his pant, (although Elin Kling does look amazing in hers with flat thong sandals). Rule number two would be to team with a loose top in a colour picked out from the pattern on the pants, or, if you are feeling very brave make like ADR and wear with a matching top (a la Celine). A structured jacket in a contrasting texture also works well against the billowing silk fabric of the pants.

I have always loved leopard print shoes but I have now become totally obsessed. Since a very charming Street Style Blogger came up to me on Fifth Avenue, New York in December and commented on how 'fabulous my Alaia's were' before he started snapping away with his camera I have been on a mission to find out who this photographer was to no avail. I have Googled every phrase with the words 'leopard' and 'shoes' but I cannot find them anywhere on Google Images....so my mission continues. However, whilst hunting for my feet I have stumbled across some other fabulous shoes that I wanted to share with you.

Be still my beating heart, Phoebe Philo has managed to do it again with Celine's pre fall 2012 collection. As ever with Celine this collection is not what I would call 'Fashiony' each piece is a classic and something you will want to keep & wear forever, pieces that you can wear at 25 or 65 year old. Each piece is beautifully structured in shades of Yves Klein blue, camel, gold, black and white with pops of oxblood red, grey and pillar box accessorised with oversized handbags and cute fur neck wraps.....just need to start saving now.

There is nothing quite like vases of fresh white blooms filling your home at this time of year...I mean, lets face it, in the UK it is dull and miserable until at least March and we all need something to brighten those dark days. Every time I walk past these vases of roses, peonies and hydrangeas they put a smile on my face, so that must be a good thing.
