Lust Have: Ciate Velvet Manicure

Luxe fabric nails look set to be the latest trend in manicures, with Ciaté announcing a new kit that adds a matte, textured appearance to give your nails the velvet touch.

Crushed velvet dominated the Fall/Winter 2012 runways at shows including McQueen, Balmain and Gucci and now the trend looks ready to hit the high street too, with Ciaté’s kit to launch this August 2012 on its company website www.ciate.co.uk priced at £14 which ships internationally. The kit will be available in three colours: Mink Cashmere, Berry Poncho and Blue Suede and is easy to apply, simply apply the base colour then brush over the crushed velvet flecks for a perfect textured manicure.
