Fashion's Night Out 2011: Les Jeans de Chanel Nail Polish
September 8th 2011 is a date for all beauty addicts that you should put in your diary now!!! as well as being Vogue's annual Fashion's Night Out it is also the launch of Chanel's Les Jean de Chanel nail polish trio and I cannot wait to get my paws on these gorgeous colours. In the range we have three blue lacquers from a pale blue through to a dark blue evocative of the different shades of our most popular wardrobe staple.
Les Jeans De Chanel will be sold exclusively in Chanel boutiques and on Chanel.com from September 8th 2011 through to the end of the month.

Closet Cleansing
I live in a world of organised clutter, so last weekend I decided to re-organise my closet and cosmetic drawers. I archived all my shoes by adding a photo to the front of each box as well as a description of the contents, season and colour. I invested in some shiny new Muji perspex drawer divider trays specifically for my make-up and nail polishes. I also made use of my collection of hand blown glass jars by displaying Fresh & Tocca soaps and Paul and Joe make-up so you can see their beautiful packaging............I now feel less stressed looking at everyday things that are more organised and beautifully displayed.

Trend Alert: Emerald Tones
Jewel like hues are huge for Fall/Winter 2011-12 with shades of emerald green being dominant in a lot of collections. Emerald looks fantastic with pale or dark skin, blonde, red or dark hair.....so basically there is a shade for us all.

New Beauty Buys
I am such a sucker for beauty products and I am a marketing man's dream. My recent purchases include three Chanel nail polishes in Peridot, Graphite and Quartz, Chanel eye lash curlers, Givenchy 'Eye Fly' mascara (the best ever in my humble opinion), Givenchy 'Mister Radiant' a light, weightless glow gel (see what I mean) and finally Chanel 'Vitalumiere Eclat' (a comfort radiance make-up with a cute Chanel brush).
