My new Alaia shoes have arrived and they are to die for....I love them. They were the last pair in my size so I was obviously meant to have them in my closet...so thank you Brownsfashion.com. As well as been edgy & sexy they are so comfortable. They are a Christmas gift so they wont be making their debut until 25th December, I am not sure I can wait that long.

Holiday Windows 2011 | New York City

There is nothing I love more than Christmas in New York City as no other City celebrates quite like it. My visit always starts with shopping in my favourite stores Bergdorf Goodman & Barneys followed by taking in the amazing window displays of Fifth & Madison Avenue. Warm Pretzels, Serendipity Iced Hot Chocolate, Ice skating at the Rockefeller Centre and the Wollman Rink, Sunday lunch in The Oak Bar at the Plaza Hotel to catch a glimpse of the most authentic Santa Claus, dinner at Le Caprice, and that bitterly cold air all evoke memories that keeping bringing me back to the greatest place on earth. I am in the City during December so will be going all out to show you what some of the best department stores are showcasing this season, in the meantime here is a sneak peek of the holiday windows courtesy of The Fashion Spot. My Favourite Things

My home during the Holiday season (or any other time) does not feel complete without some decadent scented candles, my favourites being Tocca, Diptyque and Jo Malone. As a routine I always light these while wrapping my gifts in Paperchase handmade paper and once that is out of the way I can sit and relax with a pile of fresh fashion magazines......bliss.

In preparation for the party season the best treat you can give your hair is a Moroccan Oil treatment mask, if you use it twice a week in the run up your hair will be so soft and shiny...it also smells divine. Finally, I have just invested in a new Chanel lipstick in 'Gabrielle' which I will be wearing with a nude, dewy skin and Chanel's Mat Top Coat that will transform any glossy nail polish into a sophisticated, velvety looking shade.

Style Crush: Elin Kling

My Style Crush this month is the very stylish Swedish blogger Elin Kling. I have to admit I have only just discovered what her name is, so, this is why I have now decided to dedicate a post to her flawless style. This is one lady who can make the most basic of pieces look uber sophisticated and modern. I am loving the way she teams a pair of straight legged tailored pants with an oversized men's sweater and still manages to look feminine. This is one fashionista I will be watching in the future as I am sure we are going to be seeing a lot more of her.
