Shourouk Fall Winter 2012

I first discovered Shourouk jewelry while in Paris around 4 years ago, since then I have been obsessed with the brand. Net-a-Porter.com has recently picked up the collection but they sell hot cakes so you need to be quick off the mark. I have fallen in love with the Fall /Winter collection and would be hard pressed to select just one piece. The Fall 2012 range has been inspired by the Russian Royal Court, with the major highlights for the season being the stunning bib necklaces and the beautiful embellished satchel bags. I love the way Shourouk mixes the colour, shape and size of jewels to create heirloom pieces that are so original and bold...perfect to layer or dress up a plain tee.

Charlotte Olympia Pandora Fall 2012

I am a HUGE fan of leopard print and have fallen head over heels for this gorgeous 'Pandora' clutch by Charlotte Olympia. Each season Charlotte Dellal does a new variation of this classic clutch by tweaking the clasp design and changing the design of the removable purse...this leopard print is my favourite to date as I love the sophisticated tones of the purse and the crystal studded spider clasp and as it come with a gold and black purse this bag can be teamed with anything you choose.

Lust Have: Jil Sander Veiled Beanie Hat

Ok, it is not very practical for Spring or Summer but this hat is perfect for Fall/Winter 2012 and would work in seamlessly with my closet, so, I have to say I have become a little obsessed. I have an oversized Burberry Prorsum beanie that I wear in the winter but this one could very soon be taking it's place. I love how the veil adds that feminine touch to an otherwise masculine accessory.

Blue Hues

I am loving all the shades of blue we are seeing on the streets at the moment, every shade from royal to navy, turquoise to Sapphire, denim to indigo have been seen on bags, shoes, jackets and nails. My favourite way to wear is with a pop of this fabulous hue on a simple clutch bag a la Celine.

Shourouk Jewelry | Spring / Summer 2012

Combining inspirations from the likes of Kiki de Montparnasse, Jaques Demy films and the art of Frida Kahlo, jewelry and accessory aficionado, Shourouk, established her eponymous brand of romantic accessories in 2007. Shourouk keeps her pieces unique and contemporary by using embroidery techniques with modern materials like Swarovski crystals, sequins, and silk. Spring Summer 2012 has some of Shourouk's best pieces yet: a triple band claw ring combines three statement rings into one and her "Shabanou" fringe necklace with emerald and gold crystals is the perfect pair for a white tee...
