Chanel does Fashion's Night Out

Chanel's creative director of make-up Peter Phillips has created three exclusive new Le Vernis nail colours for Vogue's Fashion's Night Out which took place in the worlds fashion capitals last night. Each of the three shades of polish were dispensed via these fabulously chic vending machines at the Covent Garden pop-up store.

Délicatesse,  Provocation and Infidèle which are part of the limited Les Twin-Sets de Chanel will be available exclusively at Chanel boutiques.

Oh, how I would love a Chanel vending machine.

Chanel Fall 2012 Nail Polish

This Fall Chanel's Global Creative Beauty Director Peter Philips has taken inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock's films by naming the three new 'must have' nail polish shades after his films. Frenzy, a pretty lavender grey,Vertigo an almost black lacquer with red glitter particles and Suspicious a dazzling fuchsia are the perfect hues for fall, they will be available at Chanel counters from September 2012. I predict mile long waiting lists, so ladies form an orderly line now.

Chanel Frenzy

Just as the name suggests I am quite sure that the new nail polish shade for fall 2012 from Chanel will cause a frenzy. This pretty greyish taupe creme polish aptly named Frenzy was created by Peter Philips to compliment the mineral and crystal themed collection and make-up on the Fall Winter 2012-13 runway. Available from Chanel boutiques and counters September.

The Chanel Closet

Now, this is one closet I would love to raid. The Chanel closet housing the Pre Fall 2012 Paris-Bombay collection has to be the most covetable I have ever seen, just look at those dresses, jewels and handbags all carefully stored in velvet lined trays and behind stylish glass doors. I love how the necklaces have been hung to prevent that annoying tangle.....now all I need to do is win the lottery, lol.

Chanel Bleu Illusion Beauty | Spring Summer 2012

This Spring Summer is all about pretty pastels and sugar almond shades so Chanel 'Skyline' nail polish is the shade we will all be wearing. As part of the Bleu Illusion beauty collection developed for the Spring Summer 2012 Couture show, Skyline is a pretty pale blue shade with a pearl finish. The collection will be available at Chanel counters from July 2012.

Chanel No5

Chanel does everything in style, even their promotional material is so stunning you wont want to throw it away. So when I discovered a package inside my January 2012 issue of Harper's Bazaar Australia I opened it straight away rather than throwing it in the trash as I tend to do. Inside I found the most beautiful card with tiny dangling metal snowflakes, bottles and Chanel interlocking 'C' logos...gorgeous.

Chanel Nail Polish Collection for Spring Summer 2012

Chanel have just released the details of their new Spring/Summer 2012 Les Vernis nail polish collection. When I first saw April, May & June as they have been named I did wonder what had happened to the pretty pearly white shade we had just seen on the runway, but fear not, this shade named 'Attraction' will be available May 2012. In the meantime April a rich fuchsia, June a creamy tangerine and May a pretty shell pink will be available from January 2012.

Chanel Spring Summer 2012

There is not a lot I can say about Chanel's Spring Summer 2012 collection other than I am speechless at the sheer beauty of this collection, in fact it almost brought a tear to my eye. The under the sea theme made way for shades of white, pearl & silver, iridescent sequins, coral beaded bags, twinkling shorts, jellyfish skirts made from tulle & lace and the most desirable dresses I have seen in a long time.

Chanel Beauty Spring Summer 2012

With its 'Under the Sea Theme' Chanel is bound to create a frenzy (as it does each season) with it's nail polish and beauty range for Spring Summer 12. Although no information has been released yet about the range, from the runway photos we can see that pearls are theme for both the nails and as body art.
